Today Show 1/7/09

I just caught a portion of the interview this morning between Matt and I think, Anne Colter. Did anyone see it? When I was getting ready for work this morning, the tv was on and she was saying something about the majority of the criminals were raised in families with single parents. It just sounded like foolishness and I wish I could have watched more of it.

Chances are, if it was coming out of her mouth it was foolishness.
Her comment makes me wonder, though. If single parent families produce criminals then what kind of sordid family situation produced her?

I saw that she was going to be on Later Today and changed the channel. I was already in bed w/ a horrible headache. I didn't want to start puking too.

I saw it and it has been confirmed for me, that she is an absolute nut. Before actually seeing the interview, I have only ever read comments she makes, but to see the words spewing from her mouth, I was sickened.

I saw it and every time I hear her I am convinced she only says these things to sell books. She's such a doink.

What struck me as funny was when Matt did a quick flip and asked her what she thought of the Bush presidency/legacy there was a big pregnant pause before the words, "I thank him for keeping this country safe" stumbled out of her mouth, of course followed by how she doubts this country will be safe after 1/20.

She never seises to amaze me. The only thing that still shocks me about her is that she and Bill Maher used to date. I would have loved to have ben a fly on the wall when they were talking privately.

Haha...on another forum where I'm a member, someone stated that Rush Limbaugh's radio persona was just an "act"; no one could be that foolish.

Unfortunately, I believe they believe everything they spew. It sickens me.

She even argued with Bill O'Reilly on HIS show, about selling more books than he does...

She was on The View today. Oh man, I don't even know what to say. Whoopi ended the interview by saying "You can dish it out but you can't take it" because Ann wouldn't let her even ask questions.

Oh, I would've loved to see Whoopi give her the business...oh well. I saw Ann on The Today Show last week...not with Matt..the one with Kathie Lee and Hoda. They were trying to be nice and Hoda tried making the point that sometimes you can win more people to your side by being nice and Ann kept saying people are buying my books. I can't stand her...I only knew people hated her a while back but didn't know why but when I heard what she said about 9/11 widows I understood why.

I wish people would stop giving that woman air time. The only reason she's so famous is because she's so shocking. She seems very bitter and sometimes, almost out of touch with reality. If she really believes what she says I can quite honestly say I'm worried about her mental state. The fact that people BUY her books never ceases to amaze me. I think everyone with the slightest notion of common sense knows she should never be in any kind of role model/leadership role and yet that's the one she's almost being given by as much air time as she's had.
