Flu Resistant to Tamiflu

This is a very interesting article. Can people weigh in on the following quote? I am a little confused as to what it is saying.

Quote:
The mutation conferring resistance to Tamiflu, known in the shorthand of genetics as H274Y on the N gene, was actually, he said “just a passenger, totally unrelated to Tamiflu usage, but hitchhiking on another change.”

The other mutation, he said, known as A193T on the H gene, made the virus better at infecting people.

Furthermore, he blamed mismatched flu vaccines for helping the A193T mutation spread. Flu vaccines typically protect against three flu strains, but none have contained protections against the A193T mutation.

BTW, there is no link to an article in your post.

But from what you quoted...Beautiful...just beautiful - now we have confirmed mutated flu strains caused be vax's.

Where and when will this madness stop?

IMO it will stop when 1 of 3 things happen. 1) More people WAKE UP and start refusing vaccines 2) There is no more money to be made off of vaccines 3) They get rid of the NVICP and people start suing the crap out of big pharma and they start going bankrupt.

I am not a fan of anti-viral drugs, so I'm not sad about this one. I will never ever take another anti-viral as long as I live, nor would I give it to my DS.

Scientist WILL NEVER understand how virus' and bacteria operate. Humans come up with something and mutation ALWAYS occurs!
Mother Nature is way too smart for us humans.

The article in the Philadelphia Inquirer about this was urging people to get the flu shot.

Its interesting the flu mutates more in areas where there are selenium deficiencies.

Most of the world is deficient in selenium.

Sorry for not posting the link. I posted the thread, got mastitis and then ... well, probably the flu. Very sick and still sick. Thanks to the PP for finding the article!
