So I talked to the lady at the trailer park office yesterday. She says the trailer park is probably not buying any more trailers, since they just got four new ones in last month. They may be able to accept just the title for it, which I told her I would be willing to consider since I'm desperate. She did say that if I just "walked away", that I would be considered owing $1000 to the park, since I am under contract with them to sell (their commission is $1000 or 10% whatever is more). The contract is valid until April, which stinks because for some reason I thought I signed a 3-month extension, not 6-month. I told her to lower the price- $2000 OBO- so hopefully that will help. The only bad part is, they had one person who really wanted to buy it, but the park is fairly strict with credit checks and that person couldn't qualify. I posted on Craigslist again with the lower rate and have gotten a few questions, but nothing solid yet.
I'll check into classifieds in the local paper, and the college paper in the next town.
I hadn't thought about scrap dealers either, I'll have to check the yellow pages to see what I can find.
Thanks everyone for the suggestions!
