Cost of returning to work? - Page 3

What are you looking for out of a job? Do you need health benefits? Money to live? What kind of shortfall do you have in your budget? That may help you decide what kind of job and therefore what kind of expenses you may have. Is there a reason you can't do more childare at home if you do want to stay home? (by that I mean do you need health benefits or are you burned out?).

I didn't even think of that as a work expense, until I read it in that post.

If I'm not at work I'll shower every other day instead of every day. Or spend less time showering because I don't need to wash my hair as often. I also wear my clothes around the house for 2 days because I'm really not doing too much to get them dirty. When I'm working I need to wash my scrubs after one day (there's no wearing them twice, YUCK!) I also wash our clothes on cold and scrubs on hot.

So minimal costs, but still costs.
