I love Judge Judy

I actually DVR every episode. I don't miss it. Sometimes I don't have time to watch it for a few days, so I have a marathon to catch up. I *do* try to do something productive at the same time when I watch it so I don't feel like I'm totally wasting time, but really, I consider it my guilty pleasure!

Now part of the reason I'm posting this is I'm hoping someone can tell me the outcome of the broken finger case that aired yesterday! We lost power for about 2 minutes, and I got to see the entire case except for the decision! It was the case where two roommates were arguing about his friends using cocaine, and she fell (or was pushed) down the stairs and broke her finger.

Please tell me what Judge Judy decided!

Think that it was on where I live yesterday. There was a guy with brown hair(defendant) and a woman with dark hair was the plaintiff.

Anyway if it the correct episode the guy was found guilty and had to pay 432.50 for her medical bills. He was only found guilty because he had entered a plea for a reduced charge of malicious mischief in the same case(only criminal) not civil. So she took it as an admission of guilt. She told the woman if that had not happened she would have gotten nothing.

Total JJ fans here:-Dh could watch hours of judge shows,. HTH.

I thought she would find for the plaintiff, but I didn't know the detail about him pleading guilty in the criminal case, so I was more wrong than right it seems.

I wish my dh would get into JJ, but he finds it ridiculous unfortunately.

Love Judge Judy! It's on from 4:00 - 5:00 here, so I am usually putting laundry away/making diner/overseeing homework/etc., so I can watch and not feel the least bit guilty about it!

I LOVE Judge Judy. DH likes to make fun of me. He absolutely can't stand Judge Judy and starts squirming whenever she comes on the t.v. - eventually he will leave the room.

I enjoy JJ most of the time. There are many times that I get mad at her for dogging out people with large families.

I used to be able to listen to her show on radio--our radio would pick up a local tv station. I loved her.

I love Judge Judy, too!!! You know that parlor game "Who would you invite to a dinner party if you could invite anyone in the world?" Judge Judy is at the top of my list every time.
