The lady at the WIC office whom I spoke to this week to set up an appointment to apply for WIC insisted that I bring along my ds's shot record. When I said that we have chosen not to vaccinate, she just couldn't comprehend that we haven't done so, and asked the same question about five times "he's 11 months old and he's had NONE?" Finally she told me that they'd "take care of that when we got there" and now I'm very nervous that I'm going to get a ton of grief over this, and I'm looking for been there done that stories or some advice on how to tell them about our educated decision without the judgment and pressure to vax.
Thanks in advance!

And then when we went to the back the nurse said "okay, he needs x, x, x, and x vax today" and I was like "oh, we don't vax". She said "may I ask why??" and I when I explained that it was for personal reasons and also medical because DS is at risk for seizures and CP, she said "oh, okay, I understand!" and that was it.
