My first dropped stitch- what do I do?

This is on a baby blanket that is nearly finished. It is a gift. I'm heartbroken, I fear that I may have completely ruined the whole blanket. If I pull on the skipped spot, it unravels like a ladder.

Is there a way to save this blanket?
