Does this sound hopeful? (TMI)

Ok, so I'm 40+3 today and getting impatient. The last few days I've had an increase in energy for no reason and - here's the TMI part - I've had 4 BM's in the last 16 hours, not particularly hard or soft, not that anything hard could fit through there in the first place.

Does this sound like my body's getting ready? I'm hoping maybe the full moon this weekend will work some magic for me and baby will decide to come! The increase in energy is HUGE, I went to the mall yesterday for 4 hours after running all kinds of errands with my boyfriend, and then I wasn't even tired after! I've also been having tons of contractions, but not regular enough to try and time, and I've given up on timing anything since they are always regular for a few hours and then go irregular which is just frustrating.

Thoughts anyone? Thanks!

Well, FWIW, I've always experienced a *change* in bowel activity in the day or 2 before labor...it's subtle, but there. I've never experienced a surge in energy...but my fingers are crossed for you!

It's way easier to tell 'labor signals' once you've had the baby. Hindsight and all that.. Once I had the baby it was suddenly apparent why my blood pressure was higher the day before at the prenatal and why I gave up on walking around the grocery store - me who *loves* grocery shopping. (Yeah, I'm pretty weird.)

But I hope this is it for you!
