Question for family cloth users

I'm decluttering but I'm on the fense about getting rid of our diaper pail. The thing hasn't been used in about 2 years and is just collecting dust. We use TP and I have no plans to switch to family cloth at this point but I have issues with TP

Anyway, should we have to switch to family cloth due to finances, how do you store the dirty wipes? Is it worth holding on the the pail? I never see them in thrift stores and if I can't afford TP I sure won't be able to spend $10 on a new pail. How do you store the used wipes?

fwiw, we still have like a 5 mo supply of TP so we won't run out anytime soon I'm just trying to figure out what to do with this pail.

I used a small tin pail with a lid. I didn't want a large pail as it was too tempting to let them build up to where they smelled so bad...

Often there are enamelware pails or pots with lids at thrift stores for a few dollars and that's what I used.

Plus I find the plastic pails smell icky and are harder to clean out than the metal ones.

We just hang a wetbag in the bathroom on a little knob. I say get rid of the pail... it feels so good to make more space.

We have a few small mesh bags that hang on the TP roll holder (clipped into a kid's pant hangar). I take the full bag to the laundry room every morning and replace with a clean one.
I would get rid of the pail to save floor space

The diaper pail I use is a small one with a step flip top but yeh,one of those big ol' diaper pails would be excessive.
