I received an email today, I remember someone asking for people to sign up who wanted to be active in trying to stop medicare from funding circs. so anyways, I got an email today with a form letter and now I don't know what to do with it can someone help me out? I know I have to send one to the legislator and one to the medicare director, but I don't know who that is in Ohio. Plus it references articles that say I am sending with it and I don't know where I can get those. If anyone else wants the form letters I can give them to you once I figure out what to do with them!

There are two things going on. The MGM bill and the medicare thing. Which are you working on? Are you sure it is Medicare, I know the MGM bill is being submitted again in a few days which is why I ask.

You can find names and contact information for your state legislators on the Ohio General Assembly web site

http://www.legislature.state.oh.us/

Under "Locating Legislators" check the boxes for "House" and "Senate", enter your ZIP code, and then click "GO".

For most states, the state legislature web site has a way to find contact information for state legislators. If anyone needs help finding their state legislators, please post a message and I will try to help you find the information.

hi - if you received the form letter from someone, you should have also received all the enclosures/attachments. This is to help with getting Medicaid to stop funding unnecessary circumcisions. If you are in Ohio, there is a group working on it, and it would make sense for only one person to send a form letter - if they receive three copies of the same letter it wouldn't look good.
