any chance this baby can come early?

i'm almost 38 weeks pregnant, not dilated, and this is my third baby (due 1/27). Is there any chance this baby can come early? I know he'll come when he's ready...Just want to hear everyone's experiences. :

Eh- I suppose. Who knows? I am 39 weeks with my 3rd and while I can wish for the baby to come early- who knows when it will actually happen? Good Luck!

Wondering the same. Also my 3rd. Due 1-28. I haven't had any ve yet so who knows about dilation? ds was 42 weeks, dd 40 weeks, this one could be 38 right? Right...probably not!

For like half an hour today, I was having a lot of painless BH contractions. And an occasional menstrual-like cramp. I don't know what to think....I was induced with the first 2 babies. I'm excited. And, I'm hoping for a naturally-occurring labor this time.

I wish healthy and early babies to all of us.

Yes, with my 5th DC I went to the hospital because of contractions, wasn't dilated. Got some hydration at the hospital and contraction stopped. 2 days later my water broke, I was 37 wks 6 days.

Jannah6, I wonder if this will happen to me. This is my last pregnancy. I want to meet the baby, yet I want to enjoy this time (even tho' it's so hard). I am 37 weeks 4 days now.

Hi. This is my third too, but I kind of think he'll come around his due date (1/30). I'm not dialated, baby hasn't dropped and my other two came at 41.2 and 40 weeks. Kind of thinking that will happen this time too. Although I'm anxious to meet this little guy, I need the next two weeks to get things organized a little more, so if he decides to just stay in there till his due date, that's ok by me!

There's supposed to be a full moon tonight, which I heard makes a difference. Let's keep our fingers crossed...
