Baby dreams before a surprise pregnancy?

I'm curious if anyone has had a significant dream(s) before finding out about a surprise pregnancy. I'm talking about one of those dreams that you know means something, but sometimes you can't figure out what it is.

I had one this month and it puzzles me. I dreamed that my two youngest, who sleep with us, and I were laying in this pink room (my uterus?) with a little boy who looked nothing like other members of my family. I asked him what he was doing here and he said, "Don't worry. I'm only here two days." It took me a few days to realize that when I had that dream I was two days past ovulation. So then I wonder, did he mean he was only staying for two days or that he'd only been there for two days? Conception is extremely unlikely this month, it would have to be from 7-8 day old sperm. But still I wonder about it.

So does anyone have any experiences similar to this? Or dreams that you thought meant you might be pregnant, but you weren't. Or were. I'm just curious (and being careful to take my vitimins).

Just before I found out I was pregnant with DS (I was 18) I dreamed that I went to pee and I peed out a little baby in a bubble. I freaked out and started wondering if I could just hide the bubble and then decided that the baby would still grow and so I attacked the bubble with one of those stapler remover thingies. Then I woke up. I took a pregnancy test the next day and it was positive. I had tested a couple of weeks before and it was negative. Too soon to tell, I guess. Anyway, I never really believed the first test.

I had a dream right about the time when I ovulated this last time. This isn't a surprise pg....we've been trying for over 3 years, but you just never know when it's your turn with the big belly.

I dreamt that I was in front of our clothes dryer, and there were a bunch of eggs on the floor in front of it. They looked like chicken eggs but they were really my eggs (from my ovaries). I was putting the eggs inside the dryer and one of the eggs broke in my hand. I looked closely at the contents and realized it was an embryo! I looked closer and it was on the bigger side (not newly fertilized, but a few weeks old) and had a beating heart. A voice told me that this was my baby. I started crying and laid it in the dryer as carefully as possible, so I wouldn't hurt it. Then, I went back to the floor and tried to find any bits of the egg that might still be on the floor so it would be complete. Then I woke up. Just under 2 weeks later, I got a BFP.

Not a dream, but one morning I was awakened by the sensation of a baby kicking inside me. It was so strong. I hadn't been pregnant in years and had forgotten the sensation. A couple weeks later I found out I was pregnant...sadly the pregnancy later ended in miscarriage.

I haven't had a dream, but the few months prior to our pregnancy I just knew that I was being prepared for another baby. It was such a strong feeling that by the time I became pregnant I wasn't in shock or denial or anything. And I KNEW I conceived right after DTD. As a matter of fact I called my best friend the morning after and told her I was pregnant.

I had a dream that had nothing to do with babies but I woke up and told my partner that I had a dream that meant a friend of ours was pregnant. She was, after a few years of trying.

Nothing for me though, but I was nauseous from implantation...

Here's my story:

My dh and I were trying to avoid, and we had a 17 month old so that was pretty easy--sex was infrequent! During the month I conceived, we had sex ONCE, 10 days before my period was due, so I was certain I was safe. A week later, I had a dream that I was in the hospital giving birth, and I saw a little girl smiling at me in the hallway. I woke up, thought "there's no way I could be pregnant," but took a test anyway, and it was negative. My coworker gave birth to a girl the same night I had the dream, so I thought that might explain the dream (I often dream of birth or death when someone I know has a baby), however, I couldn't shake the feeling that the girl in the dream was MY daughter, and she was coming to me to tell me to cut down on coffee (I was drinking 2 Venti coffees a day). I cut down on coffee, and continued to test daily, but didn't test positive until I was about 10 days late. I was pregnant with my little girl!!!
