I am new to the non-vaxing side of the debate. My Son has only had 1 DTAP and I am not sure I will even continue on the delayed/selective schedule we are on. During my research I found that at least some of the vaccine inserts say that babies that are born prematurely or have low birth weight should reconsider getting the vaccine as it may not be safe for their compromised system. My DD#1 was BOTH. Why did no one tell me that even the manufacturer said it might not be safe to shoot my premature low birth weight infant with all of these chemicals and viruses? Is is not the normal practice to tell a mother when a treatment may be counterindicated?
BTW I am lucky, my DD's (both premature) only suffered minor injury in the form of fever and redness, but that isnt the point!

: She said that only means they need it more because of their vulnerability. Hello.... I wasn't an expert on vaxes but you can't expect me to buy the fact that an injection that would go into an adult would be fine for a 4 pound newborn!!!
