I am watching this show on Discovery channel called "Bitten". It tells stories of survivors of different types of animal attacks. One of the medical professionals said that when the body experiences trauma the adrenaline goes so high that the body actually doesn't feel the pain but is in a state of SHOCK, this is the body's coping mechanism. Sound familiar???? This guy was bitten by a shark, the largest shark bite in which the person lived. In the moments of the attack he says that he felt no pain and that the pain didn't come until much later. Sad to think this happens to babies.

This is a very good point. It needs to be more widely considered within the RIC debate arena.
