carrier for little babies and big parents?

any recs for larger parents who want to babywear? Our son is 1 month, and my DP has a 54" waist and 62" bust. The XL kangaroo korner wasn't a good fit, tho the L one works well for me, and DS seems content in it. At what age can we put him in a mei tai?

Cost is also a factor; I'll be saving up for an ergo or other front pack when DS is a little bigger.

A wrap? Completely adjustable! The stretchy ones are great for the newborn months and really inexpensive, like $30. Moby or Sleepywrap are a couple of brands.

You can put your baby in a MT now -- I'd get a Kozy with XL straps or a BabyHawk with XL straps. A stretchy wrap should also work.
