Talk radio shows

Does anyone know of any good talk radio shows to listen to? Preferably something I can listen to online. I need something for when I'm cleaning the house and such. I don't have an Ipod so I can't do the podcasts (I assume you need one to listen?) Lots of subjects would interest me. maybe parenting? just throw them out at me! Thanks!

I keep my radio on all day tuned to NPR. There is always interesting stuff.

I listen to NPR too. You can listen to podcasts without an iPod as long as your computer has speakers. Just download the podcast and then play it. It's really easy to search for podcasts and download them with iTunes.
I listen to NPR's Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me and This American Life.

NPR, all day. Fresh Air with Terry Gross is always interesting. Talk of the Nation is great, too.

My faves are This American Life and Fresh Air. I can pretty much listen to anything on NPR, though. The World by PRI is also good for world news. I also like Talk of the Nation Science Friday, but I'm a science buff.

I love love love This American Life. I pretty much listen to NPR all day.

Except I boycott Science Friday, after how the host treated a non-vaxing MDC mom.

I love Car Talk but that might not have a general appeal.

Have you considered a Siruis XM subscription? You can listen on your radio or online. I like Howard Stern , Martha Stewart (especially Ask Martha and Whatever), Books Radio, Jay Thomas, Deepak Chopra but there are so many great channels with excellent shows.
