i've been ready for this baby to come since last week -- contracting on and off, change in energy level, just feeling "done," etc. -- but now i'm hoping she waits a little while.
21-month-old DS has been running a fever that dances around 104 (!!) since last night. we've been alternating motrin and tylenol, giving him cool baths, keeping him lightly dressed, etc., and we just can't get it below 102. oddly, it really hasn't seemed to bother him until tonight. he was still running around and playing until this evening, and now he's a pathetic little ball of heat and shivers. i don't see anyone getting much sleep this weekend, and i sure hope that fever comes down soon! i'm so anxious about it.
the pediatrician said, "don't have the baby just now." thanks for the tip.

been having contrax about 10-15 mins apart since 3:30 am. DS's fever is staying down around 100 now, so that's better, at least. let's see what happens...
