29 inch circular

What can I do with this? I'm trying to knit SOMETHING. I'm using some scrap yarn to pick up techniques. I just want to knit in the round, I don't want to do magic loop yet. Is there anything you could think of on this gargantuan needle? Or am I destined to magic loop it?

Um, a skirt? That's really all I ever do on circular needles. (You can probably tell I don't knit much.)

You could make a really wide tubular scarf or a sweater/vest knit from the bottom up

How about a blanket? I'm all about that- in fact, that's about all I knit. The circular needle helps keep the weight of the yarn on my lap instead of hanging off the needles. I now use circular needles for all my projects.

But I'm trying to learn to knit in the round.

How about a moebius wrap? That needle'd be about the right size if you're knitting it in the round instead of flat.

You can knit anything on a circ that you could knit on straights. Do you just want to be able to use that needle, or do you want to learn circular knitting with it? I recently made a Knitting Pure and Simple Bulky Bolero that used a US 11 29" circ. It was fast, pretty, and no seams!!
