How is your daughter doing? Is she feeling better?
Ah...I've had mouse problems and havent' been able to be on....thanks for asking!

She still has crazy morning sickness but has found that ginger slices cut into little bits and the occasional gravol is getting her through. She is being very careful about the gravol although it's considered safe. She also quit smoking(she smoked very little but every day so I'm super happy about that) and she's quite proud of herself.

She is back with her boyfriend and they are moving in together March 1.

We've booked them for 6 weeks of prenatal classes starting Jan 26th and it's a teen/young mom/parent special class.

I'll be back to edit..mouse batteries dying...

Aww, I'm sorry she's been so sick.

I've really been finding hydration to be absolutely key for me this time, though I don't think I'm going to be as sick as I've been in the past. But what is working so well for me this time is to take any nausea as a cue that I haven't had enough to drink and start pounding any liquids I can get my hands on.

Otoh, it sounds like other things in her life are positive. That class sounds super!

Thanks. Yeah...I bought her cases of gingerale...the only drink she can manage to drink lots of and she says she wakes up with a can or two opened with no recollection of even getting out of bed..she's that thirsty! It's still there but definitely more manageable.

She lost 8 lbs. She's 5ft4 and 105lbs and verrrrrrrrrrrrrry thin...seriously worries me. But when she does eat, when something does appeal to her she eats a lot to make up...she had almost an entire pizza the other night..lol. It was the only meal she ate the whole day so she made it a good one. Now though, she doesn't like pizza much

Her attitude is great and her boyfriend is on board. His parents are very unsupportive and have been for a while...if his mother stayed out of their lives I think they'd do so much better...by staying out I mean be supportive instead of interfering. She has trouble distinguishing between the two.

I feel they can do this. They are talking about getting relationship counselling and my daughter has two numbers to call for free counselling.

I think this would be a good thing to do for almost any couple out there starting out.

She takes her vitamins, I've found a nice prenatal fair to take them too in February..she's embarrassed to be going to all these things with her not looking even remotely pregnant.

She has a midwife appt on the 28th of this month and I'm taking them there as well.

jA funny thing...My three year old has a book called "Martina the Cockroach"(her name is Martina) When we told her she was going to be an aunt she said "no, I'm a cockroach" : She thought we meant "ant" not "aunt".
