I am trying to clean out the cupboards and made a loaf of 'trail mix' bread last night, but all the trail mix was on the bottom of the loaf. I added the trail mix at the beep - should I have put it in earlier? Any suggestions?
PS. The bread was great anyway! I want to try again with a different bit of leftover trail mix!

Maybe it's just me, but although I've always liked the convenience of my breadmaker, I've never found it to be the world's best mixer -- if I'm even the tiniest bit short on liquid, it won't combine the ingredients properly.
