Longies Question

If you have a longies pattern, do you have to do any math figuring to find out exactly how many stitches to knit and where to add rows and whatnot?

I am looking for a pattern where I can just follow directions without having to figure anything. Yeah, I know it sounds lazy, but I really don't want to start a pair and have them be too small and then frog, and repeat (cause I know how my luck runs).

Any recommendations? I don't mind buying a pattern.

picky pants. I used to use a pattern that I actually had to think with- that got way over rated when I got pg. Picky pants- achieve gauge and knit. Theresa did all the thinking for me. it is seriously the best pattern I have ever bought!

or if you want something fancy- buttknits.com- Amber did the work too- and adorable cables and stuff!

I'm getting redundant here, but I love my Sheepy Pants pattern. It's got standard sizes, and you can also customize it if you like. It is only $6, and it's a great pattern.

I adore my picky pants pattern. You just pick the option you want and do what it says. I dont' do gauge swatches and have used a variety of brands of yarn (all worsted) and used the recommended needle and never had fit issues.

Totally easy, no thinking necessary, even for a rank beginner as I was when I first started my first pair of these (just after she published the pattern). Also, in the event that you do have a question, her customer service is awesome

BTW, Think of Winter, did you say that you're a member of WSG? May I ask who you are there? PM me if you'd like, or if that was stalkerish then ignore the question
