Body Ecology Diet & TF

I haven't read BED cover to cover, just flipped through a few times. The part that I'm not sure would work (besides abstaining from wine, lol) is the 80% veggies/20% meat thing. I tend to eat the other way around, with 80% animal protein & 20% veggies, if that. I *NEED* that animal protein.

Has anyone followed the BED diet but switched the ratios around? Does it fit in with a TF diet?

A friend of mine simply said, "Gates is type A blood, you & I are type O." Duh, this made total sense to me. I buy D'Adamo's bood type thing to an extent - not fully, but I think he's on to something.

How do you feel about the book?

I would do horribly on that type of plan even though I am blood type A. (I don't believe the blood type thing...My grandma is an O and does great on a diet very high in produce and lower on the animal products, for example)

You could try the diet but eat the proportion of foods that you feel best on.
I don't know what your specific condition is but the GAPS diet is TF friendly.

I followed the BED for a week or two, lol. I should, first of all, say that I think it fits in well with TF-preparation (soaking grains, LF veggies, kefir, etc.). But, as a nursing mom with two little kids I felt like A) I was eating grass, and starving all the time, and B) I was constantly having to think about the food combining principles, which was way too complicated. I'm sure it would have become more natural if I had stuck with it, but I just didn't feel good enough to make it worth it for me.
