We're still doin everything we've always done. We have a very small (read: affordable) house and an equally small payment to go with it. NO cable or cellphone plans, no car payments, and we have paid off 3 student loans so our bills are much more manageable with the utilities, phone bill, one CC bill and one student loan left.
I got fired and haven't been able to find anything else, but DH's job is pretty stable.
Unfortunately a lot of DH's work clothes are wearing out, heck they're just old, but quality work clothes are kindof pricy so we are having to spread them out. A pair of pants this payday, boots next payday, Advantage for the cats this payday, Chiropractor appointment this week, etc. One item at a time. Seems like we never catch up, but at least we're not putting it on CC!
