TF SAVED my LIFE!

Well, MAYBE. I sure thought I was going to die.

I was raised on TF, but recently picked up the conscious effort to expand that and got into a deeper level of it, MAKING my own kefir, bone broth, fermented veggies, etc....
SOMEWHERE along the way this weekend, I came down with an atrocious stomach bug (or food poisoning?). Everything in my body was turned to goo and exited at an alarming rate. I lost 6 lbs. in 12 hours! I vomited, I had diarrhea and over and over until I honestly thought I was going to die. I hurt all over, my body felt like it was going to just DIE. I couldn't eat, I couldn't drink, nothing. My guts hurt to touch them, so inflamed and sore. Then I remembered that I had magic in the fridge!
I heated up some rich, gelatinous beef broth, (48 hr. beef bone broth ) dropped in some Enoki mushrooms and drank it down. A giant bowl. It was like I could FEEL the gelatin coat my poor stomach and intestines. Then I blended up some strong kefir with a little maple syrup and drank that down. It was like I could feel colonization take place in my poor vacant system. Wow.
I wake up this morning 450% better than I was even at bedtime last night.
Usually something like this would have taken DAYS to recover from. Thanks to having TF in my kitchen ready and available, I survived.

I've always believed in TF, but just wanted to share a specific instance of rejuvenation thanks to it! I don't post much in this forum, but I read it everyday! Now if I can just get my adrenals back on track... they aren't nearly as "quick fix" as an empty intestinal track.

Anyone else have any drastic tales of TF health & rejuvenation?

no tales to tell, but yours was inspiring.

I posted a similar story about using 24 hour chicken bone broth when DH and I were really sick. About a month ago I was really sick one day. I was craving the bone broth, so I sent DH to the store to get everything for it. It wouldn't be ready that day, but I could have some the next. I was pretty much better by 10 the next morning, but DH had gotten really sick over night. I gave him a cup of the broth and drank one myself. He was better by 6 pm that night. Most people think I'm crazy when I "sing the praises" of bone broth, but it's the most wonderful thing!

Whenever my DS (3 years old) has stomach issues, I give him kefir and it clears up quickly. He gets diarrhea easily and the kefir is the best thing I've found for healing him up.

I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling better.
