I'm a long time reader of Mothering but a forum novice. Along with my husband, I have one son, age 2. We are expecting someone new in August 2009. My first baby was born at home with a midwife in TX, and we'll have this one at home, too.

I'm a doula but I'm not quite done with my DONA certification and not quite sure I will finish any time soon. I haven't attended a birth in a year.

I'm going to lurk and read, read, read
