I can definitely see those points made. How do we handle differences in interpretation? DH does not see those scriptures as meaning we should not "plan our families" using some type of bc if need be. He does not think (at this time) that that means he is not living in faith. He said there are so many interpretations of scripture especially that of the OT and Revelation that it can make it difficult. We cannot just make assumptions, but sometimes we are left to do that until the Lord opens our eyes to what He wants us to see. Myself, I try to look at the overarching truths to passages rather than break things down verse by verse, unless the message is clear in certain verses. Sometimes I think where we fail to get God's message is when we take verses out of context. I'm going to be looking at that while I study this matter and pray on it. But, how are you sure you are getting the right message from His word? I suppose He has clearly told you. Correct?
Thanks so much mamas.

Boy, is this an interesting discussion. This makes trying to figure out if we should have a fourth child or not seem... I dunno... tame? childish? by comparison.

I am not QF, but I am awed and respectful regarding those who are. (ITA that barrier/NFP are the best BC, for all sorts of reasons.)

There is nothing I would rather see my tax dollars go to than providing people, especially children, with healthcare, food, housing, and education. Have all the kids you want, as far as I'm concerned.
