I thought this was a great article. Interesting b/c it discusses the history of breastfeeding, but also because it brings up interesting questions regarding the use of breastpumps as the exclusive way that employers try to accommodate nursing mothers.

That article was a bit humourous, very real and a bit sad. I had a definate love/hate relationship with my breast pump. With my first child, I pumped away in an office conference room (and occassional bathroom) and hauled my pump back and forth on the my daily train commute. Ugh! Then we would nurse all night to catch up on mama/kid time.

I was thrilled to stay home and nurse my second child without the assistance of that darn pump.

Grrr.
