From my POV, this is a very judgemental, harsh, and unloving way to talk/think about yourself. Nobody is "perfect", whatever THAT is. Nobody does everything they wish they could or thinks they should. Everyone makes mistakes and, hopefully, learns from them.
I believe that judgement blocks understanding. Perhaps especially judging yourself. To me, gentle attachment parenting allows plenty of room for making mistakes and learning from them without the heavy weight of sin-talk. There's no better way for me to teach that to my child than to model it.

This isn't a mandatory poll. Make your own if you want a different one. I might answer that one, too, hah! I don't think anyone is perfect and I'm not afraid to talk about my weaknesses. I'm lazy. That's okay, God loves me and I love myself and my neighbour and my kid. And you know what? If she is prideful I'll still love her.
Sin-talk isn't heavy for me. It's part of life. For me, recognizing my weaknesses is the start of a new beginning of redemption and improvement and glorification. If you don't like it you don't have to go to church or answer these polls. Hooray for that! Good luck on your poll!
