Maybe it has to do with the fact that it's something that MIL will not stop bringing up EVERY time DS goes to her house. Drives. Me. Nuts. DS just started PT about 6 months ago and just recently started PT in underwear. Today, he had ZERO accidents while wearing his undies- SO proud of him!! 
: He'll go at our house and he'll go at my parents house - whether or not he does anything when he's on the potty - it doesn't matter. He's still praised if he just sits on the potty. 
It just frustrates me to no end to hear a family member talk negatively about the fact that DS is not PT'ed yet, that when his father was his age, she paid a little boy to teach him, etc., He'll be 3 in a week - he's in no rush. He's got an idea of what needs to be done and knows when and how to do it....
Has anyone encountered this, if so, how did you handle it, approach it, if anything. TIA.
