Vax exception question

Hello all. My DD2 is 3 and has had 2 DTap and that's it. I'm considering sending her to a preschool in the fall that is in connection with a church, my church. How do I use the religious exemption? It's my church. I know that the church has very little to do with the running of the preschool but the handbook says that the board has access to medical records and one of the people on the board is my pastor. Any ideas or suggestions? Do I just need to find another school? TIA!

You don't have to allow access to your medical records. My dd attends the preschool associated with our church. We submitted a religious exemption with no problem. I would do the same and not include any info on your previous vax's.

No, not at all. You can use a religious exemption even in your own church/school. Not everyone interprets the religious teachings exactly in the same fashion. Surely there is room for your own thinking and feelings?

I would just fill our a regular religious exemption and see what happens. You don't have to explain yourself to anyone.

You are saying it is against your own PERSONAL religious beliefs to vax, not the churches.

This bolded part is important, since you are claiming religious exemption. DO NOT include any previous vaccine records ... submit the exemption instead. In order to claim religious exemption you must show that you are against the practice of vaccination, not just certain vaccines.
