phytic acid/phytase

does anyone know if millet is high in phytic acid (which i'm reducing by soaking) or phytase (the enzyme that does this)? i'm wondering if i should worry about combining it with some kind of wheat for more phytase.

Vaquitita, I noticed in the abstracts I reviewed that millet did indeed possess phytate and that it responded to all the usual methods for reducing the content.

I don't remember how much phytase millet has, but I _think_ Gale Force's course has info on millet--it had several GF grains, but I don't remember the details. But in general it seemed like GF grains were not high in phytase (and wheat-related ones were, which defeats the purpose of GF).

I don't believe millet is high in phytic acid - I don't soak millet or rice. I believe I read it somewhere, or I'm sure I'd soak it.
