Anyone with a toddler?

I don't know if it's just me but my daughter is getting heavier!! She is only 22 lbs. but it feels more like 40 now! Also, getting up at night is harder...

What did I get myself into... I feel so tired and she has so much energy!

Mine's technically a non-going preschooler, but she's 34 pounds of solid kid. Whew. And, yeah, the getting up in the middle of the night system is not working for me!

Luckily she'll start preschooler in the Fall - right after the newbie shows up. I'm going to need a break by then.

I've been feeling the same way about lifting DD. It feels like she's getting heavier. When I was pregnant with her I tried not to lift much of anything. I'm assuming it's okay to lift her. What else would mother's do?

DD waking during the night is so tough! I'm stopping night weaning and all she does is roll all over the bed and stick her hands down my shirt and whine all night it seems. She's only 20 pounds but somedays she feelsl ike 100!

The night waking isn't so bad for me. Ds has always been an all night nurser and I think I just adapted. I just want to sleep longer at night! He was only in bed 9 hours last night and I went to sleep with him. That is not long enough with waking up to nurse!

I remember being 37 weeks pg with dd and still carrying ds around (he was 2.5yo and was at least 30 lbs).

I've started trying to get my 2-yr-old to do more climbing himself - into the carseat, booster, etc. Of course it's easy for him to jump down, holding my fingers. Everything takes longer but he is proud of himself for doing it the "big boy way" and it's better for me.

The night waking is really hard for me and I have noticed that carrying her long distances (she's 25 lbs) wears me out really quickly.

And it's just the beginning! Can't wait for the 2nd semester to get my energy back.

my girls are 25 pounds and 20 pounds. The heavier one isn't even crawling yet. Look what I've gotten myself into! :

I have a 21 month old. I swear, in the last two weeks he has seriously stepped up his little "mama pick up you?" whining.

I think he's going on 30 lbs. I am *not* looking forward to the kind of morning ("morning") sickness I had with my last pregnancy. I was kind of incapacitated by it, and there's no way I'll be a very good mama to him.

Today, I showed him a "Big Brother" shirt, and he kept repeating it, obviously without really understanding. "Big Bwotheh! This is Big Bwotheh!" OMG, melt.
