Still here, not due till the 24th, I think it will be a while for me yet.

Me too! I'm also due around the 29th/30th. Can't go more than a week over to get my VBAC tho.. so I'm hoping it'll be sooner than later. Feeling good.. besides for the restless sleep. Lots of BH's - but I've had them the whole pregnancy anyway. It's so exciting reading about all the other new babes! I can't wait.

I'm still trucking along. Not due until the 25th.

I'm just trying to come up with crafts to keep me busy. I think if I have to go past the 25th I might have a mental break down.

I'm still here, but not due until the 31st. Congratulations to all the new mammas!! I'm not even getting impatient yet, or uncomfortable for that matter. Still able to hold on a while longer. (I still feel better now than I did for my first 6 months!)

The message board is definitely slowing down!!! But I'm still here too! 39 weeks today. Last night I had my first contractions! I was excited and had trouble getting back to sleep even though they were VERY mild and obviously not the real thing.

Good luck to all you patient January mamas-to-be

I am still here. 40+2. tomorrow is my birthday, and nobody planned anything because I didn't go into labor yet. I have had 2 evenings of practice labor that seemed very promising, but in between nothing regular. This afternoon I have developed some wonderful lower back pain despite sitting on the birth ball all afternoon. Perhaps this will develop into something. We shall have to wait and see.

I'm still leftover. My gf was due the 23rd and she had hers before me! I'm due the 17th. 2cm down, 8 to go!

My DD was Friday and I'm still here.

Started having contractions yesterday morning, and they consistantly got stronger and closer together.....finally got to the magic 5-1-1+intense so we went to the hospital. In the car, they started slowing down. :| They monitered us for about an hour and a half with 1 hour of it walking. Halfway through the walking, they slowed down even more with my back pain getting significant. Oh yeah, and my nausea. It came back like I hadn't taken any medication that day. To the point where I was stopping walking because I was getting overheated and lightheaded and felt like I was going to vomit.

Had an internal....only 1.5 cm and 70% dilated. Thankfully, the nurses were super nice and even though I felt embarrassed (I didn't want to be one of those first time mamas who were in there every time they felt a twinge) they told us not to worry and that they enjoyed people coming in because it keeps them busy and out of trouble. There were probably a good 10 nurses, with 3 student nurses running around. Only about 4 of the 12 rooms looked to be filled.

Came home and managed to sleep for about 3 hours. But haven't had any contractions since leaving. Just back pain.

Still here and I'm now 41w 4days!!! I've been reaching the end of my rope both mentally and physically so we've made the decision to schedule the induction starting tomorrow night.

Ugh - this is not the way I wanted things to go at all.

I am so sorry you had a false start. They are so frustrating. : At least you know what to expect when you get there "for real" next time.

I'm still here too, 39 wks tomorrow. I'm so uncomfortable I don't know what to do. I have such a hemorrhoid problem since the baby dropped I can't walk or sit comfortably. I have contractions every night that keep me from sleeping until they finally stop or I pass out from exhaustion at 5 am. I'm very eager to me my LO and tell baby every day that today is a good day to be born. DS1 is just getting over a flu though so I susupect we might get to meet the new one soon now that health is on the horizon again.

Tomorrow is my birthday too! And my due date! Hopefully one or both of us will have our babies! Come on babies! (Not that I want her to have to share a birthday with me...I just WANT HER!)

I'm here. 39w3d today. Due Sat. 1/17. Sigh! My midwives induce VBACs at 42 weeks (42w3d for me based on my 'fudged' date )so as long as I go into labor before then I'll be fine.

I've been trying to keep busy. Tomorrow DS and I are going to Salvation Army on a shopping spree - lol. 1/2 price day woohoo. Last time we went I found some HA and I normally find Gap and Gymbo stuff. Then we're going to fondue for dinner and have crepes for dessert. Yum!

And.... my birthday is Sunday the 18th Maybe some of us will have bday babies!

I'm here. 41 weeks and 4 days...lots of BH for weeks and prodromal labor....waiting...waiting...waiting...Just started a homeopathic remedy yesterday to get labor going...will be doing other things, as well including acupuncture...otherwise my planned 4th homebirth is out the door at 42 weeks....I have never gone beyond 41 weeks 1 day...so this is such new territory for me.

Still waiting, my edd is 1/24. I've got time.

Still here! My EDD is 1/27, and while I certainly feel different the last few weeks -- more swelling, more pelvic pain, some non-contraction crampiness and BMs several times a day -- I don't feel anywhere near "close." (Not that I really know what that would feel like -- first baby -- just my instinct.) It's fine, I have plenty to keep me busy, though I do wish I was getting more sleep.

My birthday is 1/29, too -- lots of moms with due dates close to their birthdays. Unless I'm in active labor, DH WILL be taking me out to a nice dinner! We've been pinching pennies and haven't gone out in ages.

For some reason, I've had the date 2/4 in my head as the day baby will come. I'm often awake for long periods during the night, and sometimes I just lie there looking at the spot in bed next to me where my little daughter will soon be sleeping...

My birthday is the 29th as well (and my mom was scheduled to have me via c-section on the 4th...weird!). Happy early birthday to us both! I'd love to share my b-day with DD, but that puts me almost 2 weeks late...I really don't think I can keep my sanity and go that long (as I jinx myself).

I'm still here. My due date isn't until the 26th or 29th, depending on what you go by and I'm fully prepared to go until February, although now would be nice.

Mojobot, I'm also due 1/27. Feel some BH ctx throughout the day (more in the evenings) and some crampiness (rare). I also have a feeling my baby will be late, maybe even in Feb. I want to get it over with yet I don't....

I'm here, but not due until 1/31, so it could still be a while for me. I totally have my hopes up, though, because DS was 2 weeks early and I am SO done being pregnant. I was hoping to have this one in the next week, but I don't really have any signs of impending labor so we'll see if that actually happens. I felt really "off" yesterday, but nothing happened. Every time I sigh DH asks if everything is ok , I think expecting me to confess that I'm having crazy contractions. I have been having tons of BH contractions, but that has been happening for the last month or so. I am going to acupuncture tonight, which will hopefully help me feel more comfortable at the very least. I must keep in mind that I am not quite 38 weeks and I really don't want my baby to be too early. It is so hard to be patient when I am so ready to meet my little one!
