We do goat when we can get it.....very traditional for DH. So yummy grilled! (mbuzi choma)
Oh, and I got rabbit at our farmer's market this weekend....haven't had that since I was a kid. Very chicken-ey, not quite as I remember. Still good, but my chicken doesn't cost $5/LB.
We also eat venison a lot (two/three times a week) now that I have a freezer full.
I figure, traditional food is just that--what is traditional to you? And really, for most people, beef was eaten, but a lot of other critters were more of a mainstay.
