anyone ever paint roll-up shades?

I've never tried it but I don't think it would work very well.Between the material and the shade going up and down I think the paint would chip off.But like I said I've never tried it so....

What about using starch and fabric to cover it?I've never tried that either though...so...basically I'm no help.Sorry.

Interesting idea. I think it would depend on the type of shade you have. The ones in my bedroom growing up were terrible and cracking, I can't imagine a paint that would hold on them.
