My daughter is 3 and wants me to knit her a pant and sweater set. she has not been in diapers since she was 18 months old so would wool still be a good choice? She will be four by the time I will be able to get this knit up so I am figuring it would be a cute outfit for next christmas which we will be spending in Washington. So lay it on me what are your suggestions.

Do you think my 4 y/o will really want to wear this??? hmmmm so much indecision.

I don't see why wool wouldn't work. It'll be warm, but that sounds like it might just be a good thing.

My 3.5 year old has some longies made for her from paton's wool. She isn't in diapers anymore. She loves them.

My daughter will be 4 in March and I just knit her a sweater and am about to make some pants to go with it and she loves it.

My dd has been out of dipes for a long time, but I just made her some longies. They are so soft, and nice and warm. Knit pants are really comfy! Just make sure she finds the yarn soft enough before you make them. I have some that dd won't wear.

Yeah. My daughter (3) is very particular about what touches her skin now. She wore Peace Fleece longies when in diapers, but now claims that BFL itches her. Going forward, I'm probably going to pick wool/silk or wool/cotton blends for her. Or even bamboo.
