The Kindle Books Thread (or other e-readers)

What are you currently reading on Kindle or other e-reader device? Also anyone else wish that Amazon had special wishlists for kindle books?

I'm still finishing up The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova for some reason it's a book I like to read a little at a time.

I'm using my kindle for my daily bible reading with the The Douay-Rheims Bible.

I'm also reading Wild Fermentation by Sandor Ellix Katz

Don't have mine yet but there are some books I have bought or downloaded/collected over the years and have them ready to go for when I get my Kindle. I think the first book I am going to read is TH White's The Once and Future King.

My friend has been writing some fanfic for Harry Potter and Twilight, so I have tons of that to get through so I am probably going to download that on there as well!

Definitely!

I'm reading Lavinia by Ursula K. Le Guin. I just finished My Sister, My Love by Joyce Carol Oates, which had a ton of footnotes, so I was using my clickwheel like crazy

I have the Sony e-reader and I LOVE it. I just finished the whole Sookie Stackhouse series and Dean Koont'z book Your Heart Belongs to Me. Now I'm stuck and trying to find a new book to download. Grrr..

I just bought the Sony eReader and I'm waiting for it to arrive. I downloaded the eBook Library software and have started adding free Google eBooks. Does anyone have any recommendations for novels or authors that would be old enough to be in the public domain?

I've been alternating between cheesy Sookie Stackhouse books and Alberto Manguel's Nights in the Library on my Kindle 2. It has seriously been the best birthday gift ever.

I just put Frankenstein and Pride and Prejudice on mine. And I bought Ken Follett's World Without End, since I just finished Pillars of the Earth.

I have been reading like crazy since getting my Kindle! I have read a bunch of the Drizzt books by RA Salvatore, Handle with Care, A Journal for Jordan by Dana Canedy, a bunch of Robin McKinley books...it's so great!

Random House put out 5 sci fi/fantasy novels for free, and so far I have read His Majesty's Dragon and really enjoyed it.

Last night I started The Other Boleyn Girl.

I'm reading book 8 of the Sookie Stackhouse books on my Kindle (original, not K2)- they suck you in! They're great. I'm learning that one benefit to an ereader is that nobody knows what you're reading.

I just finished The Sari Shop Widow by Bantwal (downloaded for free on my Kindle)... and I really enjoyed it.
I'm going to read His Majesty's Dragon right after I finish Sense and Sensibility....
Any other free books anyone recommends?

You can do a wishlist on the Kindle itself in the Kindle store, but I sure wish you could have one on the regular Amazon site, too.

I have Dan Brown's new book preordered, so I have to remember to turn my wireless on tonight so it will download.
