Any other VBAC mamas left?

Just wondering if any of my fellow VBAC mamas are still preggo? I'm 39+5 today and at my appt. today had my first internal... HCP (high, closed, posterior) and the baby is still 'floating'. Sigh. Soooo not expecting labor today anyway.

What are your plans if you go over? My MWs induce at 42 weeks so thats D-Day for me. Praying I won't hit it. Feb. 3rd by my 'on paper' due date.

I'm still waiting too! My EDD was yesterday. When I saw my midwife yesterday she didn't even mention at what point we would intervene or not be able to do a HBA2C. I didn't ask because I figured she was not going there on purpose--just staying positive.

She also hasn't done any internal exams or anything. She's obviously very non-invasive, and that works great for me. From feeling the head and trying to wiggle it, she says the baby is low but not fully engaged because the head still wiggles some.

still here - I'm actually checking in for my induction tonight. 42 weeks was/is my D-day too.

Lucky for me - we're doing an induction via foley and I'm just crossing my fingers to not have pit or anything else. My OB is super concerned about the risks and will be remarkably hands on for this one and not letting to many others (doctors) manage my care - unless necessary.

I hate hospitals, but I think I've done everything I can in my power to help nudge this L.O along. In all reality I've noticed this past week, some of my numbers not to be the greatest (b.p. weight changes, general exhaustion) so its time otherwise I might not get teh choice to push him out at all - which is not an acceptable choice or option for me.

I'm crossing my fingers for everyone else here for a successful VBAC

I'm still here too! My midwife also doesn't usually do internal exams, but did mention that the baby is still floating high at my last appt, so I'm not expecting labor anytime soon. My official due date isn't until the 24th though, so I'm just trying to be patient and trust that this baby will come!

I'm here, though I'm really DIF, I'm 36 wks now. I keep thinking about you Taryn! Have you been pumping? How is that going? I finally called the hospital and they don't have rentals there so I need to get mine and bring it w/ me to the hospital. I think I'll start pumping soon and I need to get my goat's rue.

My MW was fine either way but I wanted the internal because I was just getting very curious. I've been trying to get things going (EPO orally and internally for a few weeks, dtd, pineapple and eggplant parm (mostly b/c I like both ).

Jennifer I'm pumping right now! lol I got a Pump in Style off Freecycle so I'm using that until the hospital (they have pumps there) and we'll rent one on the way home. I have about an ounce and a half of colostrum so I'm glad I'm saving it even if it looks like a tiny bit each time. How were you induced w/ your last VBAC?

My EDD is tomorrow. My supposed 42 week "expiration date" is Jan 30th, and I do have a RCS scheduled for that day but if all is well at that point I may decline it. Not sure yet.

DD baked until 41 weeks and I still don't think she was ready to come out...hence the CS...so I'm expecting to be preggo for a while longer. I've had some prodromal labor and am happy about that...never happened last time...

My EDD isn't til Saturday. They don't induce VBACs at the hospital here so I would have to get sectioned. I don't hit 42 weeks til the 31st.

I've had some contractions and I'm dialated 2cm.

OMG, I am STILL HERE!!!!

I am 40 +4, and I went for an NST and fluid check today. Baby looked good but my contractions were about 10 minutes apart and only lasting for 30 seconds. I asked the CNM to check my dilation, and strip my membranes if things looked good. I was a long thick 1 cm!!! After a week of prodromal labor. Just 1 cm! She stripped my membranes anyway, in the hope the contractions would get closer together.

Then I failed the fluid check. I only had 4 cc's of fluid around the baby. That is considered dangerously low, especially since my contractions are too far apart, and I am not dilated enough to have any drugs to speed things up (I have to be 4-5 cm). They can't induce from such a slow start for VBAC patients here, so it was looking like a c/s was going to happen TONIGHT.

Anyway, they sent me over to the hospital to be rechecked on a better machine. Luckily the baby had moved some, and the nurse found a nice 9 cc's of fluid, and that was enough to get me sent home. My wonderful OB still isn't discussing c/s with me. I heart my doctor. I have to call tomorrow to set up another fluid check/ NST, and they are going to monitor me pretty closely for the next week. I apparently will expire at 42 weeks anyway, but everyone is still hoping for a successful VBAC before that day comes. I am going to ask about Foley induction at my next visit if I am not moving along any faster. I also have a date for some serious chiro/ acupressure in the AM. My Chiropractor is coming to my house, and "Will do what needs to be done for as long as it takes" to get things moving.

I'm still here as well. I'm 38 weeks today and just had my first internal. 2cm and 100% effaced.. hoping labor starts sooner than later! BH's have been getting a little more intense over the past couple of days. But now I have a cold and am feeling achy/yucky as well, so I'm kinda hoping I don't go into labor til I feel a little better!

I can't go over 41 weeks (backup OB won't allow it) and if I opt for the 'gentle" induction it has to be at 40 weeks, so we don't plan on doing that at the moment.

I had pit and AROM. Thinking back I should've just tried the AROM to see if it would've done the trick (I was 4cm and 0 station w/ light ctxs on my own). I originally went in wanting no AROM so in case it wasn't working I could go home, but DR would rather speed things up that way w/ minimal pit than more pit and no AROM. I agreed and it was only 3.5 hrs start to finish.

I'm not a VBAC mom, but as my c-section date gets closer I'm thinking that I might be one( haven't told my Dr though). I've mentioned it to my DH, but he's not on board. If I go into labor before my scheduled c-section I think that I just might try to VBAC, but we'll see.

Hoping everything goes well for allof you VBAC moms
