My baby boy Luca was born 10 days late and weighing nine pounds! He and I are doing well and thanks to my awesome midwife and great husband, I had the natural birth I wanted. I will try to post the birth story in the next few days. Good luck to all the mamas still pregnant. It's worth the wait.

What is this baby waiting for?

Well, I'm about to officially have my longest pregnancy ever. (Unless I pop a baby out in the next 5 hours!) So in my boredom, I'm wondering, what is this baby waiting for?

Here's what I've come up with...
She obviously didn't want to share her mommy's birthday. (That was her EDD, and it's come and gone.)

Maybe she wants to wait until the new president is in office. (January 20th)

Maybe she doesn't want to be a Capricorn. (On Jan. 20th or after she would be an Aquarius.)

Maybe she is waiting for the Chinese New Year. (Just has to wait unil Jan. 26th to be born in the year of the Ox instead of the Rat.)

Man, my baby is really up on current events!

I know she's not waiting for anything around the house! I've been nesting so much we practically don't even have a junk drawer in the kitchen!
