What are you reading right now? - Page 3

I finished Pillars of the Earth. I thought it was good but I was expecting more from all the hype that I read about it before I picked it up. I read a bit of the first chapter of World Without End that was attached to the back of the book. It didn't peak my interest like Pillars of the Earth did so I haven't picked it up yet.

My DD has been sick lately (bad case of the flu) so I'm reading The Appeal by John Grisham. I find his books easy to get into when my mind isn't always focused and it fits in my purse

I'm reading Wicked now and it's pretty good. I'm only 75 or so pages in so we'll see. I didn't expect it to be so... mature

oh, since this thread got bumped... I finished Protecting the Gift and am now reading- I'm with the Band: Confessions of a groupie.

Oh, man. It's a fun read when you don't want something so thought provoking or serious. She's writing about her life in the late 60's, so the bands include the Beatles and the Doors, among others. it's like junk food for literature, but I'm enjoying it.
