Its back on. They ran out of cities so now they are in Brooklyn.

8 cast members this time. 4 chicks, 4 guys.

OK, who is watching?

I watched first episode. Let me first say that the paintings that are in the house were done by my dear friend Michael Caves. The one with the neutral/brown color graffiti, as well as the one of the city and etc... He is super talented. Also he is in the band called "The Lordz" and his music was featured in the premiere.

So far, my favorite cast member is Ryan (although I didn't care for his "it" comment, but he did later acknowledge that he is ignorant).

I'm watching so far.

I've had a hard time toughing through the past few seasons.

But I am SUPER excited that they are taking on the transgender issue!! I can only hope this will be the same education/tolerance/acceptance that happened around Pedro/gays. : The scene in the Taxi was so moving.

And I LOVE Sarah? The cute tattooed girl with the little piercing. Such a great vibe from her.

Even the other chick who turned down the dance conservatory thing seems super cool thus far.

Not so impressed with the mormon dude.

eta: will have to take note of the paintings!

or lived there (Park Slope '90-'98, here.) I watched-I think I liked it enough to follow, which is something I haven't done for a long time? I think the last ensemble I watched completely was San Diego.

The last time I watched completely was Austin. Before that, I watched each and every season. I didnt care for the Paris one where the room mates were eating bad american food (mcdonalds, dominos) and not hitting the effil tower until like 5 weeks later.

I do like the cast this time around. I agree the scene in the cab was great. That guy sounds like a young man beyond his years which explains a lot about his rough life.

This is my first time watching it so far. It is interesting. I was amazed that those guys figured out the girl who was transgender. I would have never guessed. That seems so risky though going to Thailand to get such delicate surgery done. I know that people have to jump through a lot of hoops here and it is super expensive but I don't know that I would risk Thailand. I've also read a lot about bad stuff that gets done to kids in Thailand so I kind of feel like I wouldn't want to support their economy by going there for anything. I'm new to the TV message board thing so am not sure if it is okay to take the stuff in the shows and wonder about them like this?

This is only the 3rd season I've watched.
Ok, so I don't remember names yet but, so far:
I can't get much of a read from the athletic guy or the black girl just yet because they haven't really filmed much of them.

The mormon guy is going to rub me the wrong way. His character and the way he interacts is very arrogant and elitist IMO. He is eventually going to do something or act in a way that will shake his beliefs (if even just for a day) and he'll be walking around with guilt that will come out as rudeness toward hosuemates.

the countryboy is a typical boy who may be a bit offensive from time to time but, I think he seems like a good hearted guy and I suspect is probably quite intelligent under his laid back personality. Some big emotional issue is going to hit him while hes in the house I'd guess.

the dolphin trainer comes off as the mature, reserved, type but, I imagine that he has some deep emotional issues or trama in his past that will surface as anger, coldness, and will be easily offended by things. Eventually he will crack and surprise all of his roommates with some sort of explosion. He'll turn into an instigator eventually and remain shut off to half of the housemates for probably the entire season.

the dancer seems like a sweet girl who may still be a bit immature (I think that will come out later in the season) but seems to really care for others. I dont think anything big will happen with her aside from maybe some future innappropriate stuff with the countryboy (who has a girlfriend).

the transgendered girl just might get into some hurtful situations simply becuase she is too nice and may not stand up for herself in a way that will allow her to remain strong and confident. Too bad if thats the case, she seems like a very special person. She'll throw something and scream at someone by the end of the season and it will probably be a good release for her.

the girl with the tattoos seems, again, like a nice girl who does deeply care for people and human issues but I know she is going to start acting to big for her britches soon. She's going to be getting in some ethical, political, or lifestyle agruements with her roommates because underneath she just may be a knjow-it-all type.

wonder away! The parents of one of my close gal pals get ALL of their major medical done in Thailand oddly. I guess it comes down to expense for the most part. So far everything they've had done has worked out just fine. And actually, my friend's dad will be having an elective surgery done on their next trip there, coming up soon. I don't think I'd be comfortable doing medical stuff in a country with completely different regulations I wasn't familiar with but, maybe thats just me.
