This just popped into my head and I think I like it. Wondering what you think of it...

I think it's cute. I know one Josie who is 5 -- her's is short for josephine though they always knew they were going to call her josie.

I really like it. It was on our list, but I didn't dig Josephine too much...Although, now, I think I do. It is a "cute" name, so it would be good to have something she can use (if she wants) when she gets older. I'm talking about using Josephine as her given name.

I think it's cute. You can be Josie at any age. That's one of my tests for a name. Is it nice at all ages?

Not in your DDC but I think Josie is lovely.

how old are you? I always remembered that name because the tall blonde girl on Charles in Charge's name was Josie Bissett and I've contemplated that name since I was about ten years old. I think I like it.

My great grandmother's name was Josephine and they called her Josie. I like the name but it does remind me of Josie and the pussycats - remember that cartoon from back in the day?

ddc crashing - I love it! Josephine can also be "fina" instead of Josie.

Love it!

There's also Josette, if you don't like Josephine. I knew a Josette in high school.

I think it's cute.

I love it. It's on my girl list.

Lol, our pug's name was Josie, so maybe I shouldn't vote. I didn't like it.

I do know a child named Josie and I've never cared for that either, but that's just my opinion.

I like Josie, but I find it childish. Can you make it short for Josephine so that if she becomes a lawyer or something, she can have a more mature-sounding name?

Love it. There is a girl in DD's wondergarten that is named Josie. There is also Jocie (Jo-see rather than Jo-zee). I like that name too.

I wasn't too sure until I heard Josephine....now I think its great!

I like more traditional names...even unusual ones, but I have a bit of an aversion to novelty names..lol

I like it, but I also thought of Josie and the Pussycats.

I don't love it, but if you and your husband do, that's what's important

It is pretty easy to spell and everyone will know how to pronounce it, so that's a plus
