I went to my LYS yesterday to do a little shopping for the MBOY- and I want to keep what I bought for my buddy- like really bad- but I was good and boxed it up.... But anyway- I have been wanting to knit a sweaterbabe lush and lacy cardi for spring (perfect for over a nursing tank I think)- but didn't really want it fuzzy and angora or even alpaca- so I was looking at a silk blend and the owner asked me how I liked it and I told her I was in love but could definitely not afford a sweaters worth or Rowan.... she told me that she would make me a hot deal on it- I told her that I still probably couldn't afford it and I didn't want to insult her by turning down her 'hot deal'. Anyway- she sold it to me for 50% off! OMG! It is so pretty! She told me it was my good customer discount! I really hope this sweater and yarn go together- it was really too great of a deal!
