I just started using my Moby style wrap on my newborn two days ago and am loving it. Yesterday we went to the grocery store and I had him in it. He also had a jacket on so he was bundled up pretty good. A friend of mine came up to me and said that I looked like I had given birth to a blanket.
Anybody else get some funny comments like that?

Someone said to me the other day - 'you have a baby in your jacket' I said, 'yes, thanks you, I had noticed'

I always heare, "That is SO clever! I wish they'd had those when I had kids!" And I always think to myself, how do they think mother's in ancient times managed their babies? They sure didn't leave them home alone while they went out to fetch water.
I love my Moby for newborns!

Cute, OP.

Someone once called my Hotsling a holster. By far, the funniest babywearing comment I've received!

I get tons of 'cute baby' and 'oh look there's a baby in there', and I had a mama of a toddler tell him jokingly to shrink so she could do the same.
I'm in love with my moby, and DH loves the ring sling, we basically don't go anywhere without a carrier.
So far no negative responses, but I've been out less than ten times so we'll see.

My mail lady did ask me if it was a real baby in there the previous day. He is so little that he looks like a little doll.

i've heard so many people get this comment... why on earth would someone carry around a doll in a baby carrier in public?!

i've gotten all sorts of cute comments over the years, but one that really made me smile was a mama i know who has a prosthetic leg who said she wished they made them big enough so that her husband could carry her around like that when she got tired

I always get comments about my now 4 mo. old in my moby. The most common are that they wish they had those back when...(I also think...duh, they did...), and I also get the "I would be too scared my baby would fall out" a lot.

I always reassure them that he is very secure, but those people don't believe me. Weird.
