Music Festival Lovin' Mamas??

i knew there used to be a festival going mamas tribe, but i haven't found a new one for this year. is anyone headig to see some music festivals this summer or any other time? what's going on where you live?

so far here in NM the taos solar fest is at the end of june and the band lineup is TBA.

I've been pretty out of the loop, especially since dd was born, and we live so far away from all the big festivals. But I'm hoping they do Up North again this year (dh went last year and I'd like to join him again this time!) and I am really crossing my fingers for Phish tickets. : Every time I listen to them I get giddy at the possibility of seeing them again! It's only been, oh, 14 years? I think? And that was front row in a tiny theater. If anything with STS9 comes through New England this summer I'll probably try to go.

I was just thinking about the tribe this morning so count me in. I have been looking at the All Good and Gathering of the Vibes sites this mornin too getting excited.

We go to Bonaroo-
hopefully will be able to leave the kids this year!!!! and vend in 2 booths
dh also does all good and the vibes
I hope to go to Hampton for 2 nights with dh- again leave the kids with someone-
dh is doing a week of Dead Tour with our youngest- the Jones Beach and those northern shows.. they should have a rocking time!!!!!

I love Taos and miss NM on a daily basis...the sky and space......

This will be my first festival season as a mama and I'm excited! We hit Schwagstock in southern MO during the summer. They do several weekends throughout the summer. This LO will be pretty little when the season kicks off (Memorial Day weekend... usually my favorite one), so we probably won't make it to that one. We're hoping to hit the last weekend of the summer, they usually do a Labor Day weekend show and we'll be hitting that one with the LO in tow for her first festival!

We used to go to Camp CReek every year but haven't been the last 2 years. Im pretty sure we are going to Gathering of The Vibes this year since Creek is no longer..... wah. What about Garden of Eden or Strangecreek? I have to go check those out and see if there are dates up yet.

Cant wait for festivals again..... so needed back into my life!
