So, while we're planning a UC, I had a midwife friend come over today. The intention was to strip my membranes (today was my EDD according to a midwife I saw in the beginning, although I put my due date as Monday). I've been having some blood pressure issues and after some prayer decided that it may be best if this baby doesn't cook too much longer. DH was very excited and looking forward to me calling him to come home from work.
She got here and my bishop score isn't nearly high enough to even attempt anything.
I'm only 1-2cm, 20% effaced, and although my cervix is extremely soft, it's still thick. Baby has also come disengaged (although you'd never know it by the pain/pressure when I try to walk). So she's coming back on Monday if I haven't had the baby yet and we'll see how things look then.
I can't believe I went from having a 35 week preemie to now having an overdue baby. Sheesh.
