You blog (totally smitten mama) kills me, Lex. I read your blog and think "When does she clean her floors if she paints while the baby naps?" and "What they heck do they do for a living?" I end up feeling fully inadequate, but I come back for more!

Mine is dull but I clean my floors if the babies ever nap at the same time!

Well it certainly isn't my intention to make anyone feel inadequate in any way . . . or to give the impression that I too don't often feel inadequate myself! That said, the kids usually "help" me clean (we turn on music and race to clean each room in the length of a song), and when it comes time to clean the floors, the vacuum is a "monster" and everyone stays out of my way by coming close and then running away screaming (when Zeb was younger, he'd be on my back for this "game;" when Luke and Jaz were younger, I *rarely* cleaned anything . . . just ask my wife if you don't believe me ). We also live in a small house (~1200 square feet, only 800 or so that we really LIVE in), so cleaning doesn't take that much time. Plus, I've got 9 hours of kid-free time per week . . . though I usually use that time to just relax or sew (or blog!), not to clean.

Anyway, I'm glad you found my blog! I'm off to check out yours
