It actually lasted: From when my water broke and sporadic contractions started: 75 1/2 hours.

Any extra predictions you'd like to make: I predict I won't actually give birth in the water, even though I'm planning on it.

My prediction came true. I labored in the water, but got out when things slowed down. By the time I realized I was pushing, well, I was pushing and walking back to the pool was impossible.

So far she has dark hair and blue eyes. We shall see.

It actually lasted: about 12 hours from first contraction, but "active labor" only lasted about 2 hours, 13min of pushing --yipee!

Any extra predictions you'd like to make: baldie...just like everyone else, there isn't much room for genetic variations, we're all blond and blue-eyed, so we're about as recessive as you can get. I am visualizing a really perfect homebirth...smooth and pain-free and utterly enjoyable. Not so much. It was a very hard birth, but visually he looks pretty close to what we expected
