Natural Immunity

There is a yahoo group called 'Natural Immunity' - but its for residents in the USA and Canada! Basically, the group is so you can meet up with other parents to get your kids immune to something...Like say a 'pox party' - You shout your child has the pox and they can all come running to try and get it too = Natural Immunity! lol

Sounds like a fab idea! ...But we could sure use one here in the UK!
I do not know how it works but I have requested to join regardless -however, I have also asked if I could make my own UK based group. I know we do not vax here in the UK for chickenpox like they do in the USA/Canada - but regardless, I still had a hard time getting my son to have them! hehe...He has had the chickenpox (and if was not an illness you could see, you would have never even known he had them!) - But it would sure be nice to get other things done and over with whilst he is young and healthy ...like say the mumps!

Would any of you be interested in such a group? What do you think?

Also - if you see this can you remember me? - I live in Gloucestershire! If one of you gets something juicy (like the mumps lol) - Give me a shout and lets have a party! lol

Great idea!

We need the Pox round here. My 4 older kids all got them but somehow the little one missed them. He's already 8 so I need him to get them asap. I took him to a pox party before we moved here...but he didn't want to be there and wouldn't get close to anyone.

The Pox-Girl was handing out party favours of pre-sucked lollies Aidan refused his. So we're still poxless.

Definitely if anyone near me ( SW 2) hears of some pox let us know!
