My daughter asked me what the KGB was the other night. I gave her what I know but that isn't much. But then I realized she doesn't really know much about Russia, the Soviet Union, the Cold War, etc. (do they even still have the KGB? I don't know).

Ok, so this is a long shot but you know, they have historical fiction kid's books on everything nowadays so I'm sure this is out there somewhere. So does anyone know a kid's fiction book that involves the KGB?

She can read anything, but emotionally she'd probably do best with something aimed her age group (10 or so). IE - nothing with torture, sex, anything too scary or traumatizing.
